The Gospel – Adam Must Die
And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from
any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
(Gen 2:16,17)
The sheer scale of what God accomplishes in the gospel beggar’s belief. The Bible
indicates as much when it says:
1 Cor 2:10: It is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no
mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love
him"— but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The gospel is God’s miracle of cosmic recreation. One area where God accomplishes
the miraculous is in his saving transformation of humanity.
